My children and I waited for this trip for such a long time. It had been two years since I saw my sister and nephew and a year since I saw my parents. It's been difficult to set anything up because we're so far away from one another and not everyone has money free flowing or days to take off, to just fly whenever we want. We spent 20 days in New Orleans and had the most amazing time. We spent a lot of time with family just hanging out and enjoying each other's company. I didn't want to leave. Matter of fact, I prayed that I could just stay. I know that's not realistic considering the hubby is up here in PA. I just missed everything about my family....
