THERE GOES HIS HAIR....

Rewind back to 2010. An everyday argument in this house was how he should get a haircut. I hated that it was so long and he flips his head to the side every 5 seconds. I feel hot everytime I look at it. I've dreamed of cutting it while he's sleeping. LOL. Jordan has had a military cut since kindergarten. It was a requirement for private schools. I'm assuming that the freedom of not having to get a haircut was so liberating for him that he decided to go all the way! Only, I didn't think he would let it grow this long.
Present Day - Summer 2011 - IT'S GONE! It took one whole year and it's gone! YAY! I couldn't contain my excitement. Oddly enough, when he came home with NO HAIR, I was a bit shocked and sad almost. LOL.

Why must teens go to one extreme or another? Glad he's got good genes. He looks handsome in any haircut! :)

HE IS MY LOVE....

My life has not been easy these past few months. I am filled with sadness and heartbreak from missing my family in New Orleans. Realizing that I haven't seen them in two years makes me very sad and I've just been dying to go home. It's not possible right now to do this, so I just find solace in knowing that my children can always make me happy - NO MATTER WHAT.

This particular weekend, Jordan was out camping so I took my little one to the park and we just had an absolute great time. He is always happy and he makes my heart melt. I thank God for them every single day.

HELLO SUMMER...

Summer has officially begun. Our house is the house to hang out at apparently. I've grown closer to my son's friends and instantly, i feel like I have adopted 10 of them. They're good kids and more importantly, they are good to my son. Reminds me of the good old days when I was their age. I miss my friends.
